Education/Religious Literacy

National Mosque Academy: The National Mosque Academy was established in 2019, with the vision to provide academic activities, within an Islamic environment, enhanced with the values of discipline, mutual care and respect. Educating students in conventional teachings with Islamic bias.  The Academy was intended to also, serve as one of the sources of revenue for the National Mosque. The Academy operates academic programs as detailed below:

  1. Children’s Weekend Section: Saturdays and Sundays (8:30 am – 4 pm). The main area of concentration in the section is Tahfiz (Qur’an Memorization), followed by other Islamiyyah subjects, like Fiqh, Hadith, Arabic Language and Tahzeeb.
  2. Children Weekdays Islamiyya Section: it is a modern Islamiyyah School, (Monday – Wednesday) (4.00 pm–6.00 pm). Subjects in this section include Qur’an, Hadith, Fiqh, Arabic Language, Tahzeeb and Adab.
  3. Adult Sections: 

Arabic Language Classes for Male and Female:

  • Weekdays: (Monday – Wednesday). The classes are held: 11:00 am–1:00 pm, 2:00 pm–4:00 pm, and 4:00 pm–6:00 pm
  • Weekends: (Saturdays and Sundays). The classes are held: 3:00 pm- 5:30 pm (for Males)

Female Islamiyya Section: This class is held as follows: 

  • Weekdays: 11:00 am–1:00 pm, 2:00 pm–4:00 pm, and 4:00 pm–6:00 pm
  • Weekends: 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm 3:30 pm- 6:00 pm
